Bristol City have confirmed the much expected news that goalkeeper Stephen Henderson will be returning to Huish Park after tomorrow's set of fixtures. He will be signed on a half-season loan, provided the Robins do not get any goalkeeping injuries as part of their match tomorrow.
Henderson has already made eight appearances for Yeovil Town during the Autumn of 2010 during a period when Millwall keeper John Sullivan was injured. And he will now replace Sullivan for the remainder of the 2010-11 season, when Sullivan returns to the New Den after tomorrow's match against Milton Keynes Dons.
The Bristol City official site reports their boss Keith Millen as saying:
"He had a good spell with Yeovil back in September and October. This will be a good opportunity for him to go out and get games under his belt. With a keeper you've always got the security of a recall, so it works for everyone."
The recall that Millen refers to is a 24 hour clause that applies only to goalkeepers in the event of first choice pairing David James and Dean Gerken becoming injured or suspended.
